EZ-CFU™ This format provides the USP mandated quantitative microorganism challenges which must deliver 10 to 100 CFU in a 0.1ml volume. Each kit consists of two vials containing a total of 20 lyophilized pellets of a single assayed microorganism, ten 2ml vials of hydrating fluid, detailed instructions, and a certificate of assay.

Designated EZ-CFU™ microorganisms are lyophilized and manufactured to yield a predetermined quantitative assay. The assay value for these preparations is greater than 1,000 CFU/mL and less than 9,900 CFU/mL.

Following hydration and dilution of 1.0 mL of the hydrated suspension in 9.0 mL of pH 7.2 Phosphate Buffer, 0.1 mL of the dilution will contain the desired concentration of 10 CFU to 100 CFU.

These microorganisms are reference stock cultures that have been derived from reference culture collections such as American Type Culture Collection.

Each shipment includes a Certificate of Analysis, MSDS, and complete instructions. All shipments are drop-shipped directly from the manufacturer. A hazmat charge will be applied.
