StaphTEX™ Blue Kit is a rapid, latex agglutination slide-card test to detect coagulase and/or protein A characteristics associated with Staphylococcus aureus and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA). The StaphTEX™ Blue Latex Reagent will react with either or both of these two characteristics.
Simple Procedure!
- Place a drop of Latex Reagent for each specimen to be tested in a separate reaction circle.
- Select 1 - 4 colonies.
- Mix the organism into the Latex Reagent.
- Mix, rock, and read within 20 seconds.
